Omega operates the facility under a radioactive material license with the State of Tennessee, R-01112-A21. The facility operates under an approved DOE security plan.
The current security plan meets the new requirements for Closed Area (CA) as required by NNSA Policy Letter NAP 70.2.
The facility is currently being utilized for classified storage (warehousing), processing and manufacturing. Space is available to expand current operations as well as for equipment storage and testing, maintenance, upgrades and overall operational space.
Our facility management team has experience at Cat II nuclear facilities and sites throughout the DOE Complex, and have the knowledge and understanding of the necessary rigor and formality of operations required for these types of operations.
